Our engineers and team riders have worked intensively on the OAK SH Brake Lever Blade and have surpassed the already good ergonomics of the original Shimano brake levers. Through numerous tests and optimizations, we have succeeded in developing a brake lever that reduces hand fatigue. The unique Grip-Face surface offers optimum grip even in wet or sweaty hands. The shape of the lever wraps around your brake finger like a hook and prevents it from slipping out of your finger in extreme situations. The ultimate advantage for staying confident on the bike.

All OAK SH Brake Lever Blades are made from a high-strength aluminum alloy and offer excellent stability thanks to their well-thought-out design. The OAK SH Brake Lever Blade usually survives even heavy falls undamaged without bending or breaking off. It is also easy to dismantle and service.

Increased stiffness for maximum performance:
The unique design around the filigree pockets makes production complex but enables the extremely stiff construction. OAK Bushings for minimal lever play:
With the supplied Bushings (for Saint and XTR), we created an almost play-free feel on your brake. Manufacturing tight tolerances is complex, but worth every penny! Bushings and springs are available as spare parts and guarantee simple maintenance of your brake system.

Stronger Torsion Springs: Reduced pull force and less noise
The OAK SH Brake Lever Blade uses a stronger preload spring that securely preloads the lever in its initial position. This ensures that the lever remains in its defined position in the event of a hard landing or vibrations and that you never grab into a void. The springs reduce the initial finger force required to actuate the brake. Due to the reduced play and the stronger spring, the OAK SH Brake Lever Blade returns to the starting position more damped and therefore slightly slower. This has no negative effect on your braking points, as the spring is completely relaxed when the lever is released. It only applies its force later.
